We commonly see efflorescence and damp patches on the inside face of retaining walls, and pool-deck leaks into the bungalow's pool plant room.

A hillside basement wall is permanently retaining wet soil — you cannot solve that with positive-side coating from the inside. We use negative-side crystalline waterproofing that activates in the presence of water and seals from within the concrete matrix, plus PU injection of any active cracks.

My TTDI terrace has a damp patch on the rear-extension ceiling. What's the typical cost? For a standard rear-extension slab, expect RM 5,000-RM 14,000 depending on area, finish, and whether tiles need to be hacked and re-laid.

Can you stop a basement leak without excavating the outside of the wall? Almost always yes. Excavation is rarely viable in Damansara Heights anyway because of mature landscaping and slope. Negative-side crystalline plus PU injection is the standard approach.
